Guide for uploading your Confined Space Entry Program to Procore for GC review.
If your scope of work involves entry into permit-required confined spaces — such as tanks, vaults, manholes, or large mechanical rooms — your GC will require a Confined Space Entry Program before you can begin. Here's how to get it into Procore.
Log in to Procore and navigate to your project's Safety Documents section.
Upload your Confined Space Entry Program PDF to the appropriate folder.
Include your permit templates as attachments or appendices within the document.
Tag the document with 'Confined Space' and reference 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA.
Coordinate with the GC to identify which spaces on the project are classified as permit-required.
Submit for review and confirm receipt with the GC safety director.
Your program should reference the specific confined spaces on the project site — generic programs get rejected.
Include your atmospheric testing procedures and equipment calibration records.
Coordinate rescue procedures with the GC's site-wide emergency action plan.
