Guide for uploading your Emergency Action Plan to Procore as part of your pre-mobilization package.
Emergency Action Plans are required for most commercial construction projects with 10 or more employees. Your GC needs to ensure every subcontractor's emergency procedures align with the site-wide plan. Here's how to submit yours through Procore.
Log in to Procore and navigate to your project's Safety Documents.
Upload your Emergency Action Plan PDF. Ensure it includes site-specific information like the project address and nearest medical facility.
Tag the document as 'Emergency Action Plan' with the OSHA reference 29 CFR 1926.35.
Verify that your evacuation routes and assembly points align with the GC's site-wide emergency plan.
Submit for review and follow up with the GC safety director.
Post a printed copy at your crew's work area as required by OSHA.
Your Emergency Action Plan should complement, not contradict, the GC's site-wide plan. Request a copy of the GC's plan before finalizing yours.
Include the names and phone numbers of your company's emergency coordinators on the project.
Update your plan when crew members change or when work relocates to a different area of the site.
